Recently we have been very blessed with two new members to our Sydney church family. We rejoice as God rejoices in welcoming them into the body of Christ.
Wednesday the 19th of November 2014 was a very special day for Sister Liueni Manu’a. She had decided on this beautiful, warm day to make a covenant with the Lord through baptism. Sister Liueni had been through a lot in her life, but this particular morning, she buried her life of sin in the watery grave. This was witnessed by the brethren of the church, family members and friends in her home town of Macquarie Fields.
On Sabbath afternoon on the 29th of November 2014, Br Pablo Uzqueda gave his life to Jesus through baptism at the Nepean River in Penrith. Brother Pablo is a very humble, young man who has been blessed with great experiences in his daily walk with Jesus. Tears had been shed as Br Pablo spoke a few words about why he gave his life to Jesus through the IMS church. With words of rejoicing and praises to the Lord from the brethren, everyone who witnessed Pablo’s baptism was encouraging him to stand firm and endure until the end.
Let us continue to pray for Sister Liueni and Brother Pablo as they begin their new journey with Christ. May God continue to bless and guide you both!
