Assistance for Nepal
Dear brothers, sisters and friends of the church,
We are witnessing yet another tragedy in 2015, this time in Nepal. The massive earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.8 has taken thousands of lives, left many people severely injured, destroyed property and left thousands homeless. Perhaps now is the time to show a compassionate spirit and donate to help our brothers and sisters in the church in Nepal. We believe that each of us empathise with the tragedy there and that all are ready to help. Let us donate to the church members in their time of desperate need. Also let us pray earnestly for all those who have lost loved ones, who are experiencing pain, who have no shelter and those have no bread and water.
Let us pray for God to comfort and be an ever present help to those experiencing pain and suffering. God has said that our best days are labour and sorrow, but sorrow is sometimes great, especially in the last days. In Matthew 24:7-8 the Bible says – “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes, but this will be just the beginning of trouble…”. So at this time we should be united in prayer for one another. Let’s not forget that we have the Holy Spirit here, abiding in us and with us in these difficult times, particularly in these last days.

May God bless you all
To our brothers in Nepal
“The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble! The name of the God of Jacob set you on high! To send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion!” – Psalm 20:1-2.
Be strong!
