A wet and cold Sabbath on the 8th of August brought a great blessing to the Perth IMS group with a visit from Br. Salavyov from Sydney.

It was a time of joy for us when we gathered together on Sabbath morning. Br. Glendon Higgins lead us in the Sabbath School lesson. We felt the presence of the Holy Spirit, who inspired our conversation about the lesson “The Plan of Redemption”. What a great and loving Father and Saviour we have!

While the adults studied their Sabbath School lesson, the children studied their lesson under the guidance of Sister Carol Higgins. She enjoys teaching the children and has the gift to create engaging bible-based activities for them. Soon you will see some of her materials published under  the “Kids Corner” section of this website.

The children in Perth have improved very much in their spiritual understanding and musical capabilities. Everyone enjoyed hearing Clare’s performance on the violin.

Brother Salavyov took the sermon, encouraging us to learn from the experience of ancient Israel and the early church. It showed us what God expects us to do, what kind of difficulties we will face and the way to overcome them.

A combined lunch was welcomed by everyone and much discussion ensued during the afternoon. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship. Some stayed till evening when we closed Sabbath with the verse “The Spirit and the Bride say Come”.

We hope the IMS group in Perth continues to grow under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. May God bless all of our members and friends in Western Australia abundantly.
